A Texas woman discovered dead in her backyard may have been mauled by her own dogs, police declares

Tiffany L. Frangione, 48, was found with deadly puncture injuries to her neck in her Houston yard last Friday morning.

Police believe Tiffany Frangione attempted to intervene in a fight between her dog’s and the neighbor’s dog when they turned on her.

Frangione had let her two pups out into her backyard during the time that they started fighting with the neighbor’s dog through the fence, as stated by detectives.

They maintain that Frangione was trying to stop the fight when her own dogs – a 5-year-old female Alaskan husky mix and male Cane Corso mix — turned on her.

She was already dead when cops appeared on the scene.

The dogs are set to be euthanized on Monday.

Frangione’s husband turned the two dogs over to the BARC Animal Shelter in Houston on Friday, as stated by local ABC affiliate KTRK.

The dogs were planned to be put to death humanely on Monday.

Police said they are anticipating the autopsy results to establish exactly Frangione’s official cause of death.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will hand down the finding.
