Malawi’s president bats away nepotism allegations

Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera has reacted to analysis over his girl, Violet, being named to a situation at Malawi’s High Commission in London.

He has been blamed for nepotism, however he let the BBC know that her arrangement as first secretary liable for ventures didn’t have anything to do with him.

“I never engaged simultaneously,”

he said.

He added that out of his four youngsters she is the main one to stand firm on an authority situation.

He proposed that the grievances over the arrangement were being pushed for political reasons.
