A total stranger sexually assaulted and robbed a 28-year-old woman strolling home in Manhattan over the weekend, police said.

The male suspect slowly and quietly move closer to victim from behind, covering her mouth before violently touching her near the corner of East 40th Street and First Avenue in Murray Hill at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday, as stated by the NYPD.

The crawler subsequently stole the woman’s cell phone and run away westbound on East 40th Street, cops said.

Police were all the same searching for the suspect late Tuesday.
