First NYC date: Kanye West and Julia Fox see ‘Slave Play,’ hit Carbone

Kanye West and Julia Fox took in Jeremy O. Harris’ “Slave Play” on Broadway with a group of friends Tuesday prior to departing suddenly to Carbone for dinner, a source established to Page Six.

It’s the couple’s first date night in New York — where the “Uncut Gems” actress is based — after a few evenings out in Miami. An eyewitness as well told us that West managed to stay off his phone for the whole of the play, unlike in in 2018 when he was busted for texting through “The Cher Show.”

The two and their pals took a black SUV from the August Wilson Theatre, where “Slave Play” is running, to Carbone following the performance. They were snapped by paps en route.

West, 44, and Fox, 31, were first seen out in Miami Saturday night dining at Carbone’s location in that city. A source told TMZ at the time that the date was “nothing serious,” and Fox, when asked by a paparazzo the next day if there was a second date in the cards for the pair, said, “I don’t know.”

But just a day later, Page Six solely broke the news that they are in fact dating.

West and Fox went to Carbone as part of their NYC date night.

Fox and West were first seen out in Miami on Saturday.

“Julia and Ye are dating,”

a source close to Fox told Page Six solely.

“They both just got out of their former relationships, and they’ve helped each other recover immensely.

“They’re kind of kindred spirits, and it’s cool to watch.”

A third source as well alluded that rapper Future third-wheeled the couple at Makoto and insinuated Kanyulia (that one’s on the back burner) could even become Instagram-official soon.

Kanye West is in the midst of his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

Page Six confirmed that Fox and West were dating earlier this week.

West is, clearly, in the midst of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, while Fox is likewise bouncing back from her split with the father of her son, Peter Artemiev. It remains to be seen whether West’s recent and very public pleas for reconciliation with Kim will affect his relationship with Fox.

Harris’ “Slave Play” set a Tony record this year with 12 nominations, including best play — though he wound up losing every single one. The show runs through Jan. 23.
