Equation 1 fans are partitioned after A-listers denied interviews with long-term intellectual Martin Brundle at the Monaco Grand Prix.

“Bridgerton” star Simone Ashley and “Rapture” breakout Jacob Elordi gracelessly turned their backs when the British Sky Sports moderator had a go at addressing them during his pre-race network walk Sunday.

“Is this Simone?”

Brundle asked on live TV as he moved toward Ashley, 27, in front of the ritzy race in Monte Carlo.

Yet, an individual from the entertainer’s group intruded on,

“She would rather not do any TV,”

to which Brundle, 62, answered,

“She would rather not do any TV? Indeed, we’re somewhat most of the way there as of now.”

He proceeded,

“Seeing her on the grid is so great. I won’t push, yet I might want to stop to talk with you.”

At the point when Brundle was denied once more, notwithstanding, he snidely jested,

“That is fine, no difference either way.”

The presenter has made headlines in recent months following awkward interactions with rapper Megan Thee Stallion, tennis champ Venus Williams and basketball player Paolo Banchero, whom he mistook for star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

However, many fans of the sport see Brundle as an institution and slammed the actors for being

“disrespectful.”

“If you don’t want to do a 20 sec interview, and don’t know who @MBrundleF1 is, you don’t belong anywhere near that grid,”

one Twitter user wrote.

“Simone Ashley missing one of the points of being in Monaco on the F1 grid. Martin Brundle is an institution,”

another echoed.

A third user, however, suggested the reporter was out of line, writing,

“Martin Brundle was told no. Instead of respecting that he continued pestering Simone Ashley. He was disrespectful and unprofessional as a journalist.”

Elsewhere on the grid, Patrick Dempsey, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made appearances on Brundle’s grid walk.

Ciara, Russell Wilson, Heidi Klum and Naomi Campbell were also spotted at the glitzy event, where Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez took home his first victory of the season.

He finished ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and reigning world champion Max Verstappen.

A bad strategy call from Ferrari saw hometown hero Charles Leclerc lose the lead of the race, ultimately finishing fourth.

“No words, no words,”

he said over the radio to his team at the end of the Grand Prix.

Verstappen, 24, now leads Leclerc, also 24, by nine points in the 2022 drivers championship.
