Demaryius Thomas, Super Bowl champ and four-time Pro Bowler discovered dead in home

Erstwhile Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas died Thursday at his Roswell, Ga., home, as stated by a number of reports at 33.

Roswell police said Thursday night that Thomas was discovered dead in his home. The police in addition said that initial reports show Thomas’ death might have arisen from a medical issue, as stated by ESPN.

“Preliminary information is that his death stems from a medical issue, and our investigators currently have no reason to believe otherwise,”

Tim Lupo, public information officer said in a pronouncement early Friday.

Demaryius Thomas’ is believed to have stemmed from a medical issue.

Thomas played in Denver for 8 ¹/₂ years when the team selected him with the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech. He was the most important of the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50 and was drafted to four Pro Bowls, inclusive of three successive selections, in his time in Denver.

Thomas added his career with short stints with the Texans and Jets previous to publicly retiring as a Bronco in June, even though his last NFL action happened in 2019. All through his 10-year career, Thomas acquire 724 receptions, 9,763 receiving yards and 63 touchdown catches. He is one of just four players in NFL history to notch 90 catches, 1,200 yards, and not less than five touchdown receptions in four successive seasons.
