Ms. Dannielynn assuming that you’re dreadful.
Anna Nicole Smith’s girl, Dannielynn Birkhead, had an opportunity to wear one of Janet Jackson’s notable outfits Friday night.
The 15-year-old went to the Barnstable Brown Gala in the dark pantsuit, oversize belt and paperboy cap that the “Beat Nation” artist wore to a similar pre-Kentucky Derby occasion in 2003.
“It was bought as a piece of Janet’s @juliens_auctions helping noble cause,” Dannielynn’s dad, Larry Birkhead, made sense of in an Instagram post, adding the hashtag “#prouddad.”
The father-daughter duo also had a chance to meet and take a picture with Jackson, 55, at the gala.
“What a night! … Janet was so gracious and complimentary of Dannielynn in her outfit,” Larry 49, captioned a follow-up post.
“She made Dannielynn so happy and even graciously posed for a photo with us.”
Larry shared that he planned to take his teenage daughter to “her first @janetjackson concert,” too. The Grammy winner, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, and R&B group New Edition are set to co-headline a show at the Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Ky., Saturday night.
The Birkheads are regular fixtures at the Kentucky Derby, where Larry and Smith met in the early 2000s and sparked a romance.
The couple welcomed Dannielynn in 2006, just five months before the Playboy model died of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 39.
Larry said in a “20/20” special in 2021 that Dannielynn “doesn’t really know a ton of things about her mom” as she was only a baby when Smith died.
